We are having a membership of 11,000 scattered
all over Sri Lanka. We are organized under district basis. Each
district has a District Organizer and Divisional Organizers
helping him to carry out the mission of ADEP. Each divisional
Secretary's area is represented by a Divisional Organizer. At
the moment our activities are limited to 20 districts due to
the ongoing conflict with the militant Tamils of the North.
We have all together 231 Divisional Organizers dedicated to
find solutions to the problems faced by the victimized service
personnel.
At the Annual General Meeting a President, Secretary and a Treasurer
is elected. In addition to this, 10 Committee Members are elected
to form the Executive committee. To carry out the tasks of the
association effectively the following

Right round the year district Meetings are held
at least once a year in each district mustering all the members
in the district along with the District & Divisional Organizer
of the particular district. Government Secretaries in charge
of different divisions are invited so that any problem pertaining
to members could be investigated properly and solutions found
to grant redress. Our divisional organizers are provided with
all facilities at the secretariats to meet the members and discuses
the problems they face and to find remedies.
